TYPE & APPLICATION
Liquefied Gas Carrier type 2G designed as a two grade cargo vessel for the simultaneous transportation of two cargoes (one cooled, one uncooled), intended for the transport of liquefied gases with a maximum cargo density of 0,65 t/m3 in two independent cylindrical type C tanks located in separate compartments.
Vessel is suitable to carry methane (LNG), ethylene, ethane, propylene, propane, butylene, and butane.
The vessel is a single main deck design.
CLASSIFICATION, REGULATIONS & FLAG
The ship is designed for world-wide trade, in accordance with the international rules and regulations and constructed according to
Bureau Vertias for class notation:
BUREAU VERITAS I *HULL *MACH *AUT-UMS, Liquefied gas carrier, Unrestricted navigation, ICE CLASS IB, MON-SHAFT, CLEANSHIP SUPER, INWATERSURVEY
Requirements of Panama Canal, Suez Canal, USCG are fitted also.
MAIN PROPULSION SYSTEM
The vessel is fitted with a diesel / gas – electric propulsion system.
When transporting LNG, the gas engines will be used for power generating. In case other cargoes are carried, the diesel engines will be used
BOWTHRUSTER
One 650 kW electric motor power bowthruster.
ACCOMMODATION
For 19 persons, arranged in 17 cabins.
