On 10th of November 2011next ferry built for one of the largest Norwegian Owner – Torghatten Nord A.S sailed from REMONTOWA SHIPBUILDING S.A.
Car – passenger, Ro – Ro ferry has the name of one of the islands situated in north part of Norway – VENGSØY and is designed to serve public transport in this area. The ship can take on board 21 cars and 147 passengers. The ferry is operated by a 3 – person crew – which gives opportunity to reduce operating costs and increase expected profits.
The vessel was built according to design of Nordnorsk Skipskonsul AS from Norway in cooperation with REMONTOWA Marine Design &Consulting Sp. z o.o.
The ferry will comply with the Norwegian Maritime Directorates (NMD) and Det Norske Veritas (DNV) rules and regulations.
